Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Director, US IT Risk Management will report to the Senor Director of US IT Risk. The US IT Risk team is responsible for providing a comprehensive view of IT Risk across Royal Bank of Canada’s US business units - Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Global Asset Management, City National Bank and RBC Bank. The team is responsible for overseeing risk management practices, reporting to the US Board, conducting risk assessments, ensuring that appropriate controls are in place, and engaging with US regulators on continuous monitoring, exams, and remediation programs.What will you do?Document and execute on procedures in accordance with Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) standards and frameworkConduct walkthroughs of business processes to document process flows and ensure effective controls are in place to mitigate risksFacilitate workshops with stakeholders to identify and assess risks related to processes supporting the delivery of IT servicesAnalyze and calibrate assessment results and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.Assess remediation plans to ensure they adequately reduce riskCreate and maintain risk management reports for various management forums and CommitteesCollaborate with stakeholders on IT risk-related initiatives to provide recommendations and guidance to manage risks within the Bank’s risk appetiteEstablish strong working relationships with the stakeholders in the businesses, Second Line of Defense, and Internal AuditWhat do you need to succeed?
