*Job Summary *
The Electrical Lead at Royal Paper Mill in Gila Bend provides leadership, technical support, and direction to the E&I maintenance department responsible for the mill-wide repair and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems in the manufacturing operations. Our paper mill is located in Gila Bend, Arizona, about 1 hour southwest of Phoenix. We are currently looking for a skilled Electrician Supervisor to support our 24/7/365 paper mill.
*Position Details *
* Provides leadership, technical support, and direction to the E&I maintenance department responsible for the mill-wide repair and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems in the manufacturing operations
* Provides direction and coaching of E&I technicians in their roles, responsibilities and expectations to meet plant objectives in safety, environmental, quality, cost, and customer service
* Ensures that plans, schedules, and materials are available to allow for E&I work to be handled effectively and efficiently (daily and outages)
* Consistently contributes to the efforts of the Royal Paper employees to safely improve E&I reliability by applying reliability principles such as Reliability Centered Maintenance and Root Cause Failure Analysis to identify the appropriate Predicative and Preventative maintenance procedures
* Ensures Electrical Safe Work Practice compliance
* Effectively communicates results and action plans as appropriate
* Ensures that employee issues or concerns are correctly addressed and resolved
* Provides E&I job planning as required for the area
* Manages contracted services as required
* Provides Maintenance Duty on call coverage as required
* Utilizes a computer based Maintenance Management System to manage and provide results
*Basic Qualifications*
* Associate’s degree or higher in electrical engineering OR electrical technology.
* Five (5) or more years of industrial electrical, industrial electrical engineering, or electrical experience in the military
* Electrical Journeyman license
* Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience
* Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
* Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*Technical Knowledge Needed & Job Requirements*
* Experience in a manufacturing environment, Pulp & Paper industry preferred
* Knowledge and skill in programming with Rockwell Automation Software (RSLogix/Studio 5000, SLC 500/RSLogix 500, FactoryTalk Studio/View)
* Knowledge of Programmable logic controllers (PLC) [ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix]
* Knowledge of Distributed Control System (DCS) [ ABB, Rockwell, Valmet DNA, Honeywell (Experion PKS)]
* Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) [ABB ACS 800, Allen Bradley PowerFlex]
* Knowledge of Communication Protocols [Fieldbus, Modbus, Profibus, ControlNet, DeviceNet, HART, Ethernet TCP/IP, Fiber and OPC]
* Power distribution (single phase, three phase, low Voltage, medium voltage, high Voltage)
* Knowledgeable about Instrumentation calibration of pressure, temperature, flow, level etc.
* Systems (Windows/Linux) and Networking (Cisco/Juniper) Hardware and Software
* Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office and other windows-based programs
* Proficient in AUTOCAD
* Knowledgeable in NFPA 70(NEC) / 70E
* Must be effective and comfortable in team-oriented environment
* Must be willing to have hands-on involvement with industrial equipment
