Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability. Raytheon is currently seeking a Logistics Analyst to work on challenging product support projects with emphasis on supporting a suite of products within the logistics department. This is an entry level position. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with outstanding analytical and communication skills and an interest in working in a dynamic environment to continue to grow their career in an engineering environment supporting state-of-the art technology through development/sustainment phases of Logistics products. This job is based at the Raytheon facility in Portsmouth, RI. This position is designated as ONSITE. Commuting costs to and from the Portsmouth, RI facility are the responsibility of the incumbent. What You Will Do * Engage in a variety of duties supporting logistic engineering and collaborating with peers and internal customers.
* Problem solving and verifying accuracy of logistics documentation.
* Research specifications and standards to support Logistics and Parts Engineering processes.
* Research technical, reliability and maintainability data for components using government and commercial sources.
* Review technical data for maintenance evaluation and collection of logistic data.
* Input/research maintenance/parts data into an Excel Model and/or Logistics databases.
* Analyze output data and develop reports.
* Assist Logistics product sustainment with ongoing configuration updates.
* Work with technical stakeholders to edit/format hardware documentation and verify change requests.
* Work independently with general instructions on new logistic projects or assignments. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy. Qualifications You Must Have * This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
* Bachelor's Degree required
* The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Prefer * Must enjoy working in a team environment with frequent customer contact and have excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
* Experience creating tailored reports in Microsoft Excel from external, and often compiled data sources.
* Ability to multi-task across the needs of the site including concurrent coordination and logistics efforts

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
