Raytheon Field Engineering is currently seeking a Depot Repair Logistician and Hardware Manager in Portsmouth RI in support of the Submarine Launcher Sustainment Program. Duties would include coordinating all activities required to repair and upgrade Weapon Interface Modules (WIMs) used in the Virginia, Seawolf and Collins Class Submarines' Weapon Launch Systems. This role will be onsite in Portsmouth, RI. What You Will Do * Provide Internal and Navy PMOs with weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reports on the progress of each module as it moves through the repair process. Report all problems encountered and provide corrective actions aimed at re-establishing program repair objectives.
* Specific duties include inducting units into PRISM, defining and disseminating repair/upgrade requirements to team members, calculating cost estimates to repair and obtain materials, tracking budgets to ensure overruns are managed, tracking and synchronizing failure analyses, manufacturing engineering and test engineering work flows, generating waiver requests, coordinating system-level testing at Raytheon and Navy facilities and tracking all other activities conducted to deliver the product to the fleet .
What You Will Learn * Effectively monitoring and coordinating all tasks associated with the upgrading and or repair of the weapon interface modules. Tasks would include receiving, funding, troubleshooting, repair, upgrade, and testing all modules received. The candidate would also be required to interface and track activities within the following internal and external organizations: Navy and Raytheon PMOs, Failure Analysis Engineering, Test Engineering, QA Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Control and Purchasing, System Engineering, Configuration Management, Data Management, Shipping / Receiving, Outside Vendors Rework.
Qualifications You Must Have * Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience. Experience in lieu of education can be considered.
* Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
* Direct experience with Weapon Interface Module Repair Cycle.
* Direct experience with AN/BYG-1 Seawolf, VA & Collins Weapon Launchers.
* FRACAS Failure Analysis experience.
* Configuration Management experience.
* Government DD149 Delivery Process experience.
* Government's IUID Usage experience.
Qualifications We Prefer * A minimum of 2 years' experience in with Circuit Card Assembly and Repair.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
* Data Management and logistics.
* Financial Analysis and Reporting Techniques.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
* Must be a self-starter and could align priorities appropriately.
* Must be willing and available to travel on short notice and for extended periods.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSACAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
