Audiologist
Audiology Services

The Audiologist will:
  • Selecting, fitting, and dispensing of hearing aids and other hearing assistive devices.
  • Providing care to patients of all age groups from pediatrics up to and including geriatrics.
  • Communicate and work closely with Medical Staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in clinical education programs and departmental program development in assigned areas.
  • Practice in accordance with professional code of ethics and New Jersey State Practice Act.


Requirements:
  • A Master's degree or Doctorate Degree, graduate of an entry level master's or doctorate program in Audiology from a college or university accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology (CAA).
  • Requires a current New Jersey State license and registration in Audiology or eligibility.
  • * 2+ years of experience strongly preferred
  • * Ability to complete Vestibular Nystagmography testing and Auditory Brainstem Response testing strongly preferred
  • Requires analytic ability, use of independent judgment and sufficient interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with patients, families, students, peers and other health care professionals.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) is preferred but not required


Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift
