Position SummaryRole and ResponsibilitiesIdentify potential partners and establish relationships with the media outlets to secure strategic collaborationsDevelop and implement effective strategies for sourcing new Media Outlets and expanding the customer baseExplore and Discover Business Models and Revenue Generation Methods with Media OutletsNegotiate and finalize agreements with partner companies, ensuring they align with Samsung's goals and objectives while maximizing value.Manage existing partnerships, monitoring performance and addressing any issues or concerns raised by partnersAnalyze market trends and user behavior data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the media partnership programConduct comprehensive revenue analysis to identify areas of improvement and maximize profits from new media outlets and account managementManage KPI, revenue with Head office teamsEnsure timely and accurate invoicing, payment processing, and financial reporting for all Media Outlet transactionsCommunicate with stakeholders internally and externally to deliver the highest quality news content from partnered media outlets to the Samsung News serviceSkills and QualificationsBachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent in experience preferred10+ years of experience in business development, content & service operation and product managementExperience in media outlets or media platform companiesEquipped with advanced analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative as related to business metricsExperience operating with and leading cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues collaborativelyDeep understanding about the mobile ecosystem with a fluency in business models and knowledge of the competitive landscapeAbility to have communication skills to articulate partnership strategies, negotiate agreements, and foster productive relationships with media outletsAbility to oversee multiple partnerships simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlinesCompensation for this role, for candidates based in New York City, NY, is expected to be between $160,000 ~ $2,000.  Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.Regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) have access to benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Employee Purchase Program, Tuition Assistance (after 6 months), Paid Time Off, Student Loan Program (after 6 months), Wellness Incentives, and many more.#LI-YRC* Please visit Samsung membership to see Privacy Policy, which defaults according to your location.
