The SAP Engineering Academy is dedicated to producing engineers who will solve complex business processes using cutting-edge technologies, doing so with the right ethics and values.

Located in San Ramon, California, The SAP Engineering Academy brings the best engineers from across the world for one of its kind immersive learning experience. The various programs include hands-on engineering activities, close intersections with sales and shared experiences with multiple thought leaders from diverse cultures and disciplines.

We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role primarily involves performing routine and repetitive tasks that are crucial to the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with essential structured tasks, have a strong attention to detail and be able to follow established procedures accurately. Situations do arise where non-routine duties are required, and this position desires a candidate with a high degree of adaptability and responsiveness to address various and often challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception Duties: Greet visitors, distribute badges and handle check-in procedures.
  • Data Entry: Input and update information into databases and spreadsheets with high accuracy.
  • Document Management: File and organize documents, including scanning, photocopying, and shredding as needed.
  • Scheduling and Calendar Management: Maintain and update schedules and calendars for meetings and appointments.
  • Office Supplies: Monitor inventory levels and reorder office supplies as needed.
  • General Administrative Support: Perform other administrative tasks as assigned such as expense reports and large catering orders.
  • Unexpected Tasks: Respond to and manage unforeseen tasks and changing priorities with a proactive and flexible approach.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or some college experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role is prefeed.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures consistently.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Adaptability to handle unexpected tasks and shifting priorities as needed.

Work Schedule:

This position requires flexibility, including availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. The specific schedule may vary based on operational requirements and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 39900 - 81900(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
