The Lead Domestic Credit Financial Analyst is responsible for the comprehensive management of domestic accounts receivable portfolios. This role involves analyzing and reporting on portfolio health, metrics, and overall exposure, ensuring timely communication with departmental and divisional leads. The incumbent will collaborate with traders and managers to address potential issues, mitigate risk, and conduct thorough credit reviews for new and existing customers. A continuous focus on process improvement, including streamlining reporting and developing new reports in collaboration with IT, is essential. The Lead Domestic Credit Financial Analyst will also ensure compliance with departmental quality and productivity standards, mentor direct reports, and engage in industry discussions to build key relationships and address problematic accounts.Oversee the domestic accounts receivable portfolios, ensuring accurate and timely reporting on portfolio health, metrics, and overall exposure.Provide scheduled reports (weekly, quarterly, as necessary) to departmental and divisional leads.Collaborate with traders and managers to identify potential issues within the portfolio and develop strategies to mitigate associated risks.Conduct comprehensive credit reviews for onboarding new customers and perform scheduled reviews per company policy, including analyzing references, credit reports, and financial statements.Lead efforts to streamline reporting processes, improve efficiencies, and collaborate with IT on the development of new reports.Ensure the team adheres to quality and productivity standards set by the department.Mentor and provide constructive feedback to direct reports, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and high performance.Attend industry credit meetings to discuss problematic accounts, share insights, and build relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit management, or a related financial role.Demonstrated experience in managing domestic accounts receivable portfolios and conducting credit reviews.Proven track record of process improvement and streamlining reporting processes.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements, credit reports, and references.Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software, including advanced skills in Excel.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating with traders, managers, and other key stakeholders.Ability to mentor and provide feedback effectively to direct reports.In-depth understanding of credit risk management and portfolio analysis.Familiarity with industry credit practices and standards.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to attend industry meetings and build relationships with external stakeholders.We encourage all candidates who are enthusiastic about his opportunity and believe they can contribute to our team’s success to apply, regardless of whether you meet every qualification.
