The Director of Operations at Petsource in Seward, NE is tasked with leading all facets of operations, warehousing, engineering and maintenance at the facility. Positioned onsite, this executive role emphasizes strong leadership in operational strategy, people management, and support for engineering projects. Reporting directly to the President, the Director of Operations will focus on business growth and operational excellence, prioritizing team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and process optimization to ensure plant operates efficiently and meets industry standards. The Director of Operations sits on the Petsource leadership team as a key contributor to the strategy of the overall business, leading the execution of that strategy across the operations platform. Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of manufacturing including production, maintenance, sanitation, and product quality control. Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company goals and objectives, monitoring and communicating all Key Performance Indicators (KPI) across the operations footprint. Ensure all operations are carried out in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner. Lead, mentor, and manage the operations team to be a high-performance team. Drive the company's operational and strategic objectives, aligning them with market demands and ensuring efficient execution. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, using Lean manufacturing principals and Six-Sigma methodologies. Continuously assess and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high product quality. Oversee the development and management of annual operating budgets and strategic capital investments, focusing on technological advancement and maintenance excellence. About YouBachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Manager, or a related field preferred.
