What you get to do:

Repairs automotive vehicles and operates heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts, man lifts, back hoe and other heavy equipment. You will also:
- Perform routine maintenance schedules on all equipment
- Examines vehicle and extent of damage or malfunction
- Plans work procedure
- Raises vehicle, with hydraulic jack or hoist, to gain access to mechanical units bolted to underside of vehicle
- Disassembles unit and inspects parts for wear
- Repairs or replaces parts such as pistons, rods, gears, valves and bearings
- Relines and adjusts brakes, aligns front end, repairs or replaces shock absorbers and solders leaks in radiator
- Replaces and adjusts headlights, installs and repairs accessories such as radios, heaters, mirrors and windshield wipers
- Ensure excellent customer service by responding to customer requirements, expectations and needs
- Other duties as assigned
- Occasionally assist other locations and areas throughout the park as needed
What it takes to succeed:
- At least 18 years of age and have a valid CA driver's license
- Tool Ownership and Storage: Candidates for this position are required to provide their own set of tools and a secure storage solution for these tools.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Strong mathematical skills
- Able to frequently lift/move up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to operate heavy machinery such as fork lifts and man lifts
- Regularly use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, handle, feel; stoop, crawl, or kneel
- Handle multiple tasks and work in a fast paced environment
- Work indoors and in outside weather conditions (i.e., wet and/or humid conditions)
- Work weekends, holidays, early mornings and late evenings
- Able to positively interact with park guests and team members of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or language, and individuals with special needs
Compensation: 32.00 USD Hourly
