Clearance: Eligibility for DHS Public Trust (US Citizenship is Required) Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud architecture, full stack development, database administration, and SQL data analysis. This position requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to excellence and a strong attention to detail. The AWS Cloud Architect will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it meets the highest standards of security, performance, and reliability. Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement cloud architecture solutions using AWS services.
Develop and maintain a scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud-based solutions.
Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and scalability.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
Perform database administration tasks, including ETL processes, query optimization, and data migration.
Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
Work onsite in Falls Church, VA, two days per month. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, full stack development, database administration, and SQL data analysis.
Proficiency in AWS services and cloud architecture best practices.
Strong understanding of database technologies
Experience with object-oriented programming languages (C#, Java, Python, etc.) and front-end frameworks (VueJS, Angular, React).
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker).
Advanced knowledge of ETL processes and SQL query optimization.
Excellent communication and teaching skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
US Citizenship and eligibility for DHS Public Trust required. Desired Certifications:
CASP+, Security+, Certified Network Defender (CND), and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certifications preferred. Work Environment:
Hybrid work model with a requirement to be onsite in Falls Church, VA, two days per month.
