Overview/ Job Responsibilities *** 100% remote, full-time position*** Supporting the Navy PEO MLB's modernization effort, this is a key funded position as part of a strong Agile/DevSecOps team supporting requirements remotely. SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Cloud/Software Developer, Journeyman will accomplish the following action items on an Agile team: * Decompose legacy applications into containerized solutions. * Work closely with other team members (including the customer) to demo and deliver solutions via short sprint cycles. * Must be able to work with minimal supervision and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills * Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics) or equivalent industry experience in Software Development. * 3-5 years of demonstrated federal or commercial cloud development experience in AWS. * Programming languages: Java, Python, Perl, and other scripting languages * Applications/Frameworks/ Tools: Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub, GitLab, Docker, Ansible, Nexus, SonarQube, Twistlock, Jira, Confluence, Mural, Maven, Junit, Selenium, Corestack, Kubediff/Terradiff * Self-starter, able to work independently. * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
