Starting Salary is $85,000 or more depending on experience

SUMMARY
Provides direction, leadership and supervision of the professional and other staff at the program site to carry out operations and quality services in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable state and federal standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:
- Enforces company policies and procedures related to program, health care and safety of consumers.
- Reviews and monitors the development and implementation of treatment and service delivery plans.
- Participates in corporate and/or state quality initiatives and ensures implementation.
- Assists in the development of the operational budget. Accepts responsibility for cost containment within the operating budget. Assures that staff adheres to company budgets and resources.
- Attends all licensing reviews and participates in exit interviews. Assists with development of correction plan and oversees consistent implementation of plan to ensure repeat citations do not occur.
- Participates and provides suggestions and guidance in Interdisciplinary Team meetings, as needed or upon request.
- Promotes relationships and provides information about the company to families, case managers, regional community, and other professionals. Communicates with parents/guardians and professionals regarding consumer needs, progress and concerns.
- Participates in various committees, such as the Safety Committee, Human Rights Committee, Advisory Council and Infection Control Committee, for optimal operations and services to consumers (per program requirements).
- Ensures disciplinary action of staff is carried out when necessary in accordance with company policies and procedures. Coordinates with the State Director for approval of all involuntary terminations. Coordinates with State HR as appropriate.
- Ensures/maintains licensure of all assigned homes/programs. Ensures implementation of policy/systems for handling of consumer and company funds.
- Oversees and ensures ongoing maintenance of the physical site(s) and grounds in accordance with state/federal guidelines and company policy.
- Investigates in a timely manner all unusual occurrences in conjunction with prompt action to prevent reoccurrence of situations that jeopardize consumer health and/or safety.
- Actively seeks to maintain full occupancy of all facilities and/or census at or above plan.
- Performs other related duties and activities as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directs and supervises assigned staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Makes decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in human services, social work or related field. Master’s or higher degree preferred.
- Must have a minimum of five years of experience in the human services field
- Minimum of 1 year of business operations experience (informing/managing budgets, supply ordering and management, involvement in accounts receivable and accounts payable, overseeing drill completion, experience with licensing/accreditation, etc.)
- Minimum of 1 year of management experience required (experience with HR/employee relations/Quality improvement processes and tasks, recruitment/retention/termination, etc.)
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- CPR and First Aid
- Current driver's license, car registration and auto insurance if providing transportation to individuals receiving services.
- Licensure in good standing (if applicable for active clinician applicants) as required by state.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Efficiency and Time Management
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity and comfort with understanding and utilizing financial data to guide business operations
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically word, excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to recruitment, retain, develop, retain and lead a diverse team

- Travel as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Medium Work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
