The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #8871, located at: 1250 Venables Street, Vancouver, BC, V6A 2E4
 
This position is responsible spray equipment (e.g. airless, conventional, electrostatic, pressure washers) at the store or at customers’ job sites. This includes performing necessary repairs, providing training on equipment, and maintaining inventory as required.

Step 3 – In-Store Interview 
Your video interview is reviewed by a member of our Recruitment team and our top candidates are invited to meet with our team in a store, specialty wholesale branch, floorcovering facility or delivery service terminal.

  • Support the sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams paint store, servicing wholesale and retail customers.
  • Perform repairs on all types of spray equipment (e.g. airless, conventional, electrostatic, pressure washers.) at the store or at customers’ job sites
  • Conduct hydraulic and warranty repairs
  • Rebuild pumps
  • Repair branch tinting and mixing equipment
  • Educate other employees and customers on spray equipment 
  • Maintain an inventory of spray parts
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Have prior work experience repairing spray and/or hydraulic pumps and equipment
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint related products
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
