Responsibilities:

As an EMS Lead at Six Flags, you’ll help keep First Aid operations sharp, safe, and always ready for emergencies. It supports accurate incident reporting, daily safety checks, and smooth coordination with park leadership. The position also assists with hiring, training, and maintaining key documentation for medics and workplace safety. Additionally, it helps manage medical records, track important data, and ensure employees get the care they need quickly and efficiently.

 

HOW YOU WILL DO IT:       

  • Ensure that First Aid facilities and equipment are operational and prepared for emergency readiness
  • Ensure daily operations are safe, professional, highly effective and efficient
  • Ensure daily First Aid documentation is complete and accurate
  • Ensure reporting of incidents with guests and employees are being performed correctly by medics and safety notifications are being made when necessary
  • Regularly communicating with park management in relation to First Aid operations as needed
  • Ensure daily safety audits are complete and accurate to company guidelines
  • Filing medical paperwork and records in accordance with company record retention policies
  • Assist in the interviewing of medic staff and hiring decisions
  • Assist and Maintain record keeping of OSHA reportable incidents
  • Assist and Maintain records and track Employee restriction and follow-up reports
  • Assist and Monitor Labor activity and adjust as needed on operational days
  • Assist in training of new and returning medics
  • Assist, Update and maintain First Aid medic files and document work performance
  • Assist, maintain and ensure First Aid SMOP / SOP are current and revise as necessary
  • Assist and maintain in-house database for all guest and employee contacts
  • Assist and maintain data on all Ambulance transports form the park
  • Assist and fill out forms and paperwork to get employees to medical clinic for medical care.

Qualifications:
  • Must be currently certified and in good standing with TDH
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including, days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must have good communication and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to perform duties listed in the job description. 
  • Texas drivers’ license required.
