We are seeking an experienced Red/Blue Team Engineer, with experience supporting USCYBERCOM Cyber Mission Force. This role resides in our Cyber divisionand reports to our Program Manager. This position is located on customer site in the Annapolis Junction, MD area with a 10% travel requirement. SIXGEN supports cyber and intelligence missions by serving government and commercial organizations as they overcome global cybersecurity challenges. Our highly skilled operators conduct research and assessments based on real-world threats. We simulate adversaries and malicious actors to report details and actionable findings on critical assets and infrastructures. Our program planners advise mission owners to bring rapid solutions to intelligence mission leaders. Core Responsibilities: * Provide support to both Red/Blue cells by developing solutions for conducting network exploitation operations and designing cyber mission networks for use in exercises/training. * Collaborate with management staff to determine the organizations' networking needs. * Present network plans to management staff. * Oversee the network implementation process. * Ensure that all network systems are functioning properly and that the network infrastructure is optimized. * Plan, design, and evaluate mission networks. * Support acquisition of software and hardware to obtain enterprise level sophistication within respective cyber range environments. Required Skills and Experience: * Demonstrated experience planning for new initiatives and expanding the existing network architecture to meet special requirements for Gray Space, Red C2 infrastructure, and Blue Team Fly-Away Kits (FAK). * Demonstrated experience documenting solutions/blueprints for any-network related schemas and cyber operation tools that are developed. * Expertise in designing, modeling, securing networks, and documenting discoveries. * Demonstrated Experience troubleshooting of network issues and recommendation of network modifications to optimize performance while adhering to all relevant security policies. * Ability to work in a dynamic environment and non-standard hours. * At least 8-12 or more years of continuous work experience as responsible network architect/engineer in a Network Operation Center or Cyber Operations. * A Bachelor's Degree or higher-level degree in Network Engineering and Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, two (2) additional years of relevant CO experience can be substituted for a the listed degrees for a total of ten (10) to fourteen (14) years of experience or more.In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, hold one or more of the following certifications in the listed disciplines: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), relevant SANS courses, or other related applicable certifications, OR a written commitment to obtain a relevant accredited certification within six months of start date. The anticipated salary range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for other forms of compensation to include our growth incentive program, incentives and benefits.
