Reporting directly to the CFO, this position requires leadership and development of high-performing global accounting teams. With a proven track record in managing complex financial operations, the role offers significant growth potential, with the possibility of promotion to Global Controller within one to two years for the right individual.REQUIREMENTS Lead a global team of accountants to complete day-to-day operations of the accounting function, including billing, collections, revenue recognition (ASC 606), A/P, tax compliance/filings, payroll, account reconciliations, month-end financial close process, and preparation of financial reports. Work closely with the internal and audit teams to oversee and manage all aspects of the external financial audit and ensure its timely completion. Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly financial statements under GAAP and company guidelines. Work with the Finance team to perform variance & flux analysis, identify financial inefficiencies, and provide recommended actions.  Establish, monitor, and enforce proper processes, policies, and procedures that relate to internal controls and financial integrity. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements, notably income tax, sales tax, and property tax. Enforce adherence to requirements, file financial reports, coordinate with related third parties, and advise management on needed actions. Own the G/L and optimize our Netsuite implementation to streamline finance and accounting workflows and improve internal controls. Develop and manage a high-performing accounting team by optimizing roles and responsibilities, adjusting key processes and workflows, making team modifications where necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and improve financial processes and systems. Help implement and automate order-to-cash and other critical workflows around the G/L and other critical systems.
