This position will reside in SkyWater Federal, which is the SkyWater affiliated company focused on business supporting US Government programs. The Project Control/ Financial Analyst will report directly to the Finance Department of SkyWater with a matrixed report to the Program Manager of SkyWater Federal. This position will provide project control for multiple programs. Responsibilities:
-Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis support to Program Manager and Contracts Manager -Create financials for Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and development of time-phased budgets and schedules -Perform financial tracking, reporting, and analysis -Monitor execution of all direct-funded contracts, subcontracts and task orders
-Monitor costs and manpower on a weekly basis ensuring that actuals are within budget and charged to the correct job number -Monitor spend levels and budgets to proactively identify tasking requiring additional funding
-Prepare finance-related information for inclusion in customer and program Contract Data Requirements (CDRL)
-Prepare accurate and complete variance analysis and reporting.
-Prepare and monitor spend plans
-Support accounts payable and accounts receivable -Periodically review contract/project status with leadership
-Develop/improve internal financial tools, systems, and processes Required Qualifications:
-Minimum 5 years providing financial analysis in Government Contracting environment
-Sole US Citizenship Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship -Strong background with multiple government contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M, CPFF, and hybrid contracts
-Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
-Demonstrated experience attending to work details under firm and quick turnaround deadlines
-Preferred experience with Unanet or other government accounting system (e.g., Deltek, Sympaq, Jamis)
-Demonstrated experience multitasking; effectively managing time and prioritizing workload Preferred Qualifications:
-TOP SECRET/SCI clearance
-Bachelor's degree or certification of federal contracts courses
-Experience with DOD contracts strongly preferred
