Sodexo is seeking our Hands On Catering Manager for Creighton University in Omaha, NE Creighton University is a Faith Based campus and is one of Sodexo's Showcase accounts for Campus Dining and Catering. Reporting to the Catering Manager/Director, this Catering Manager 2 will support high end plated service to high volume buffets.
This Catering Manager will manage the day to day catering on campus - including faculty receptions/ meetings and student events, conferences and camps - averaging 15 - 25 events per day. Experience with executive client relations, campus alumni relations as well as an understanding of setting up buffets to high end service will provide the foundation of success for this role.

Is this opportunity right for you? The Catering Manager will:
- Review all catering event orders and weekly catering sheets to ensure accuracy.
- Organize events, ensure on-time setup, and ensure employees offer consistently superior service.
- Conduct constant event walk-throughs to evealuate and meet service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to ensure organizational efficiency and continuous safety training.

What You Bring:Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:
- 2 - 3 years experience Catering, Event or Banquet supervision managing multiple events per day.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent leadership/team building skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle catering at all levels from students to executives
- Professional demeanor is required
