Our client we are supporting is a family of companies are comprised of multiple SBA Certified Native American Tribal 8(a) and multi-certified organizations focused on delivering Information Technology, Management Consulting, and General Construction solutions to the Federal Government along with the Commercial Sector. They are actively looking for experienced Plumbing Foreman, Journeyman & Helper to join our team in the TN-KY area! These are long-term projects with the potential for continued work with a Nationwide MEP Contractor. We provide a positive, organized, and professional work environment with room for growth and cross-training! Project pay prevailing wages and typically work 4 – 10 hour shifts. Hourly prevailing rate starts at $42.54 per hour for Fort Campbell, KY. Rates can change depending on location of the project. Must be able to pass a background check to access federal property. Military Veterans are encouraged to apply! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional hard-working team supporting a United States Army contract at Fort Campbell. The main responsibilities of the role include: • Layout and install above and below slab storm, sanitary, vent, and domestic water plumbing systems • Install plumbing fixtures, pumps, and other plumbing equipment • Install mechanical piping systems for HVAC • Proficient in reading blueprint and isometric drawings while staying current with plumbing codes, as well as following each projects specifications and standards. • Fill out work activity logs for work completed and submit to the project team daily. • Maintain a 3 week look ahead schedule and maintain material onsite to complete scheduled work with the assigned project superintendent and project manager • Assist by directing and teaching plumber helpers, ensuring any of your foreman’s directions are communicated clearly to them, and that their work meets design and quality standards The qualified candidate will have the following knowledge and experience: • Foreman with a minimum of 12 years’ experience managing crews on federal and commercial projects. • Journeyman with a minimum of 8 year’s experience with projects on federal and commercial projects. • Detail-Oriented: Your attention to detail is unmatched, ensuring accuracy and quality in every task you undertake. • Team Collaborator: You thrive in team settings, valuing the collective success over individual achievements and readily contributing to the team's goals. • Communicative: You possess strong communication skills, capable of representing our brand professionally across all interactions. • Adaptable: You're flexible and capable of adapting to changes in priorities and project needs with ease. • Eager Learner: A strong desire to learn and grow is at your core, along with a willingness to introduce fresh ideas for continuous improvement.
