JOB DESCRIPTION: Lead design, coding, and debugging of travel information software applications; oversee support, maintenance, and documenting of software functionality; write, analyze, review, and rewrite software programs; establish specifications for new software applications; develop and set functions based on team requirements; communicate with team leads and developers to identify programming and architecture solutions; evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update, and add new features; oversee optimization of existing functions by utilizing optimized algorithms, refactor SQL, and recap user workflows; facilitate overall code development; write high quality source code; correct coding errors; lead front-end and back-end development and implementations; create software program requests/tasks to achieve prototype projects; lead refactoring and design of applications; develop application architecture; oversee implementation and management of software packages; evaluate third party, open-source dependencies; review older versions of software libraries and oversee migration; collaborate with software developers on code reviews for new code changes and merge requests; translate and implement client requirements into software application features; resolve client issues; oversee development of technical documents to represent and explain application design and code; work from home benefit available.
REQUIREMENTS: Experience with software development lifecycle, front-end and back-end development and implementations, data structures and algorithms, object-oriented programming, JavaScript ES6, ASP.Net MVC, HTML/CSS, C#, VN.NET, T-SQL, SSMS, SQL Server, jQuery, Bootstrap, Polymer, ckEditor, .Net/.Net Core, NPM, Bower, Gulp, Github, IIS, and Windows Server 2012+; U.S. Master’s degree in computer science, plus three years of experience as a software developer.
