The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Source to Pay (StP) Controls Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Safeguarding the integrity and efficiency of our StP processes by developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust control framework to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identifying and leading risks assessments, designing effective control solutions ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and documenting controls and processes including the creation of process maps and RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) charts.
- Conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and control effectiveness. Supporting internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations related to STP controls.
- Being a proactive leader who can collaborate across functions, providing expertise in procurement, finance, and internal controls to drive providing expertise in procurement, finance, and internal controls, to drive continuous improvement and excellence in our StP operations.
- Applying deep understanding of risk management principles, SOX 404 requirements, experience with StP systems, and the ability to influence and train teams to adopt StP control policies and best practices.
- This role is essential in supporting our company's commitment to ethical practices, financial accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND extensive experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Extensive experience in procurement, finance, or internal controls, with a focus on Source to Pay processes.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Administration in a private, public, government or military environment
- Professional certifications in CPA, CISA, or CIA is highly desirable.

- Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and risk management principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational (personal and team level) skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Able to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; ensuring that the team meets stringent deadlines without compromising quality of work.
Work location: Remote within Germany
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international
