This role will play a critical and highly visible role, spearheading music communications efforts across the organization. Ideally based in New York or Los Angeles, the Senior Director of Music Communications will be responsible for the development and execution of a music communications strategy that proactively touts SoundCloud's unique platform and its vibrant community of creators and curators. You will work to increase overall brand awareness, credibility and emotional connections with SoundCloud and its artists through highly impactful proactive campaigns and earned media coverage across consumer, lifestyle, entertainment, business and trade media. This will include developing narratives aligned with overall business objectives, crafting press materials such as press releases, pitches, and briefing documents, and working closely with cross-functional teams in different time zones to identify, shape and tell stories that demonstrate the creative vibrancy and cultural impact the SoundCloud community of creators and music fans are having in the world.
