Job ID: 22480 The C4IS&R division at the Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking an undergraduate student with more than a year of school remaining. The student will test computer-imaging software and web-based applications by validating that existing software defects have been fixed and will also find new bugs using established test procedures. Interfacing with software developers and other testers to understand and complete testing tasks. Some minor programing may be part of the assigned tasks. Writing and executing test procedures. Required Qualifications: * Must be a current USU student pursuing a computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, electrical engineering, or a related technical degree * Must be able to meet student work schedule (15-20 hours per week, preferably in 4+ hour blocks of time during school semesters and up to 40 hours per week during school breaks; core hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm) * History of effective communication and teamwork * Ability to quickly learn and functionality of existing software and systems * Must have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance * Must be a US citizen Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Linux, GIT, MS Office, LaTex, and some scripting SDL supports a variety of missions, including NASA's vision to reveal the unknown for the benefit of humankind and the Department of Defense's aim to protect our nation on the ground, in the air, and in space.
