Specialized Pavement Marking is pleased to announce its acquisition of Sterndahl Enterprises, a strategic move to strengthen our industry presence and capabilities. As part of this transition, we are recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Specialist, a role initially based within Sterndahl Enterprises. Over time, this position will transition under the Specialized Pavement Marking banner, providing a seamless experience as we integrate operations. This opportunity will allow new team members to play an active role in our growth and become key contributors to our unified financial operations team.

Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist requires the ability to work independently with great accuracy and attention to detail. You must be able to utilize Excel, Outlook, Word and our current accounting software with proficiency. Have knowledge in lien releases, change orders, stop notices and bond claims.
Pay Range: $25 - $30 per hour depending on experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Invoice creation based on unitary billing
Compile invoices onto contractors monthly pay applications and other special invoice forms
Data Entry: Input daily usage of material and equipment into ERP
Heavy email communication with contractors
Assist in the collection process on invoices
Special projects and reports as needed
Meet month end processing requirements
Address questions and complaints from customers

EDUCATION:
Degree in Accounting or a combination of experience and education
EXPERIENCE:
Two or more years of related work experience in the construction industry STRONGLY preferred.
Vista or Pro Contractor billing experience is desired
Nice Touch or EWB invoicing preferred
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
Intermediate Excel proficiency level
Must be dependable, organized, and detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with and build relationships with a wide variety of people
