Schedule: Day Shift, 10am to 8pm

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Line Cook to join a growing and dynamic team!   

Job Description:  

• Set up your workstation before the start of service to ensure readiness for rush periods.
• Maintain full knowledge of the menu and adhere to all safe and sanitary food handling procedures.
• Prepare ingredients according to restaurant recipes.
• Collaborate with other line cooks and the kitchen supervisor to ensure food is prepared and served on time.
• Thaw frozen ingredients daily/nightly for the next day's service.
• Communicate with prep cooks when items on the line are running low.
• Properly wrap, label, and store items from your station at the end of the shift.
• Clean your workstation and equipment thoroughly at the end of each shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:    

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler card issued by the State of Hawaii.
• Maintain personal appearance in compliance with restaurant grooming standards.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and be an effective team player.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Comfortable working in non-temperature-controlled environments.
