SteelGate LLC is hiring full time IT Systems Specialist/Administrator to join our team in Hawaii. In this role you will support United States Army Pacific G3/7 by providing information technology service management and systems administration. SteelGate LLC. in partnership with Booz Allen Hamiliton is providing USARPAC G3/7 services for developing, documenting, structuring, implementing, coordinating and monitoring delivery of USARPAC G3/7 IT service management processes, procedures and performance, including continuous improvement of all USARPAC G3/7 IT service areas. This includes support to USARPAC G3/7 in coordinating, integrating and synchronizing the services from IT service area providers. This position requires a person who can be responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems; especially multi-user computers, such as servers. The system administrator seeks to ensure that the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers they manage meet the needs of the users. To meet these needs, a system administrator may install or upgrade computer components and software, provide routine automation, maintain security policies, troubleshoot, train or supervise staff, or offer technical support for projects. Provide technical assistance for hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and other computer equipment. Install, configure, diagnose, and troubleshoot hardware, software and peripheral devices. Respond to helpdesk calls and emails from users in a timely manner. Troubleshoot and repair hardware components such as motherboards, hard drives, RAM, power supplies, etc. Configure and deploy new computer systems according to standards. Setup and configure network components. Monitor system performance, identify any issues, and determine solutions. Create user accounts and manage access rights and security settings. Communicate effectively with users to gain an understanding of their technical needs. Provide training to users on basic computer operations and usage of installed software packages. Maintain inventory of all installed hardware components, software licenses, and peripherals. Keep up to date with industry developments and trends in technology. Tasks include: • Directorate IT Support (designated G37 IMO Provisioning and Managing Active Directory Accounts SIPR/NIPR Manage Entitlements and ACTCS accounts System Support and maintenance (Imaging, Touch Labor). • VTC Systems Management and troubleshooting. • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and MS Teams with ability to edit and design. • Experience organizing data, establishing file structures, and ensuring information is captured and stored in locations accessible to authorized users. • Experience conducting assessments to baseline KM processes, taxonomy structures and architecture, technology, tools, and capabilities. • Experience with cloud-based computing systems. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree and 3-10+ years relevant experience • Minimum DoD 8570 IAT Level II Compliance: Security + with CE Must possess and maintain TS clearance.
