Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications In this role, you will be part of a team managing a large system procurement, providing expert input and advice related to space, launch, and ground system commercial program management. For this role, key qualifications include: * Excellent written and verbal communications with a demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with customers at all levels, partners, and colleagues * BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Systems preferred) with 8+ yr experience in commercial space systems program management * Experience working on commercial satellite programs, including communication space systems * Must be a self-motivated individual who can work independently and in a team * Comfortable working in fast-paced commercial and start up environments and enjoy working with multidisciplinary teams on a diverse array of challenges related to satellite system development and implementation * Must be a US citizen or greencard holder * Role is immediate, full time, and may be performed from N California, or S California or with regular travel. Other locations may be considered Desired Qualifications: * Commercial Space Systems Program Management including evaluation of contracts, RDW, schedule/ IMS, management of key milestones and deliverables, * Spacecraft System Engineering expertise including but not limited to end-to-end architecture concepts, supplier evaluation, CONOPS development, ICD development, and creating technical proposals Candidate may have experience in one of many of the following: * Subsystem design and analysis, Systems Architecture development, bus systems engineering, electrical system design, mechanical system design, TTC, Comm payload design, Orbit Dynamics, GNC/ ACS design, and design for manufacture and test Domain expertise across a spectrum of technical domains such as: space environments analysis and test, PMP, thermal design/ analysis/ test, structural design/ analysis/ test, reliability, launch and mission analysis, ground system design The typical pay range for this position is USD $130,000 - $220,000 per year, total package. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
