Stellar Solutions Inc. is seeking a site security specialist with a strong background in government security. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of the intelligence community and the Department of Defense, coupled with experience in drafting and implementing security processes and procedures. This individual will partner closely with the Director of Security to shape the future of Stellar's security, intelligence and services offerings. Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications Your Duties in this Role: * Run personnel security clearance actions for the Stellar workforce, to include but not limited to: background investigations, eligibility screenings, visit requests processing, and employee reporting through DISS, NBIS, and TALON * Security Consultation - Provide strategic support, operational guidance, and status on security requirements and execution to Director of Security and government customers * Manage daily communication with government customers, program management, internal customers and employees, sub-contractors and security counterparts in a responsive and timely manner * Maintain building access controls and Intrusion Detection Systems for the Aurora Office using the CCURE 9000 access controls system or other similar software; to include backup support to the Stellar enterprise * Manage the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) operations in accordance with the ICD/ICS 705 and other IC community policies * Familiarity with SCIF buildout processes with the Department of Defense and/or Intelligence Community * Conduct physical security inspections of secured areas w/ required reporting back to the Director of Security and Government Customers * Conduct assessments on Stellar security programs w/ the Director of security to ensure compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 and NSCM * Insider Threat Alternate - Assist the Insider Threat Program Security Officer (ITPSO) in maintaining the Insider Threat program through analysis, program reviews, reporting, documentation, and updates * Update and manage core security policy and procedural documentation * Administer the Security Training requirements for the Stellar enterprise to include conducting security briefings and debriefings, consultation on general security guidance, security education, and awareness training * Execute other security administrative tasks, which include but are not limited to terminations, badge renewals, managing the cleared personnel files, and maintaining accurate clearance database information You should have: * Strong understanding and/or experience in managing Government Security, ideally within the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense * Preferred completed education in the FSO curriculum and/or Security Certification * Ability to build rapport, interact professionally, and foster a cooperative work environment with a diverse population of employees, subcontractors, and customers * Ability to communicate professionally in both written and verbal communications * Understanding of regulatory compliance reporting requirements * Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team Desired skills: * Strong communication skills * Ability to multi-task * Ability to provide public briefings and/or speeches * Experience writing security volumes in the government proposal process. Minimum Education Requirements: * 2 years w/Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree Security Clearance and Background: * US Citizenship required * Must have Top Secret SCI Location/Travel Requirements: * Primary location - Stellar's Aurora Colorado office * Limited travel to support other Stellar offices Compensation: The typical pay range for this position is USD $65,000-95,000 per year, total package. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, and a full benefits package including a significant profit-sharing retirement savings plan. Deliverable(s) You will assist the Director of Security in writing, reviewing and processing of proposals for the Stellar enterprise. Additionally, you will participate in Security's production and management of a Yearly Strategic Plan and Operating Plan.
