This position will cover a District in Region 2. The AP Specialist is responsible for the success and operational effectiveness as it relates to shrink within the stores in their district. In this role, the AP Specialist is responsible for driving all Shrink, Front End KPIs, and Fuel compliance and demonstrates best practices in those areas.This role works closely with the District Director and Regional AP Managers for day to day execution and overall strategy and guidance. Additionally, the AP Specialist is responsible for developing talent within the Asset Protection Department.
* Deliver on results and KPIs for specific Shrink, AP initiatives, Fuel compliance, and Front-End metrics.
* Manage internal and external theft cases
*Drive AP & shrink Initiatives by partnering with Profitability to investigate and find root cause of operational shrink. * Supervisor to an average of 10 AP Associates within the district.
* Execute policies and procedures and deliver goals for the district to reduce shrink.
* Deliver direction and support stores in delivering Asset Protection initiatives, operational initiatives, customer service goals and safety.
*Opportunity Store Identification and support of turnaround plan
* Communicate and reinforce the understanding of the shrink and safety strategies throughout the district.
* Coach and develop a team of skilled AP Associates that have the competency to meet and exceed company expectations in the areas of shrink, safety, profitability, in-store customer experience.
*Conduct store visits spending time coaching and developing AP Associates to achieve business results and personal growth goals.
*Coordinate investigations including cash discrepancies
*Partner with HR on internal and sensitive cases.
* Partner with HRBP on talent planning and development and discovering talent within stores and department.
* Act as the focal point to the District Director,DCT, and store teams regarding the communication of feedback on AP initiatives and in-store opportunities.
*Ensure fuel stations are trained for operational, environmental and safety compliance
*Utilize tools and technology to detect, monitor and prevent any loss to the company.
-Prepare and review accurate and detailed case reports.
-Document and monitor internal and external cases.
-Interact with law enforcement
-Conduct store audits.
-Manage key / core issues and order as needed to maintain physical security of stores in the district.
-Manage service calls for alarm needs in the district.
-Manage service calls for CCTV needs in the district.
Requirements:
5 yrs experience
Highschool Diploma/GED; Bachelor's degree preferred
