This position will be on-site at our VA office location. *Please note that this is not a Property Management/Real Estate position* Responsibilities * Maintaining ethical and compliant Government Property operations in accordance with STR policies, legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements * Daily management of Government Property personnel and operations * Manage and perform life-cycle Government Property administration by following applicable guidelines and company procedures for receiving, tagging, auditing, distribution, storage, inventory, shipping, and disposition * Primary interface between Government Property team and Technical staff * Training STR personnel on Government Property processes, systems, and compliance requirements * Fostering career growth of Government Property team members by providing guidance on career path and opportunities that provide subject matter growth * Collaborate closely and communicate effectively and professionally with STR personnel and external partners on a regular basis * Coordinate with Contracts team on contract closeout activities * Recommend, develop, and implement continuous process improvements * Participate in special projects as needed Requirements * US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance * Bachelor's degree * 7+ years of relevant Property or Logistics experience with DoD and Intelligence community customers * Management experience * Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) * Experience with Government Property tools and information systems preferred (e.g., PIEE, WAWF, eTools, AssetWorks, etc.) * National Property Management Association (NPMA) or equivalent certifications preferred * Ability to travel as needed to other STR sites * Ability to lift 30+ pounds * Ability to read, interpret, and apply Federal regulations and related acquisition policies and guidance Candidate Attributes * Collaborative, self-motivated, and efficient, with good business judgment and analytical skills * Innovative, with an interest in working closely with STR's Contracts and Purchasing management and other team members to optimize our practices, while maintaining compliance with our core contractual and regulatory requirements * Ability to prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to change * Superior interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with external customers and partners as well as colleagues at all levels across the organization * Attention to detail STR is a growing technology company with locations near Boston, MA, Arlington, VA, near Dayton, OH, Melbourne, FL, and Carlsbad, CA.
