Job Description Strategic ACI is seeking a System Engineer and Program Manager to support our customer in seeking new ideas and experiences to energize its engineering activities. This is an outstanding opportunity to support the next generation of satellite systems. We are seeking Spacecraft, Space Ground and Launch System Engineering experience supporting USAF, RCO or NRO Systems. You will work with a team to provide technical, engineering, and programmatic experience to the organization. In this role you will actively support enterprise level architecture analysts, engineering studies, and the acquisition of new systems. Responsibilities: * Advise Senior and Mid-Level managers on SE and acquisition decisions to include investment strategies, portfolio priorities, SE reviews and risk assessment of project execution.
* Provide technical and cost assessment of developer proposals, technical reports and design artifacts and programs.
* Conduct studies and analysis focusing on specific operation issues such as Mission assessment, optimization, operation tools and resource management.
* Participate in conceptual development, providing optimization, and transition testing, CONOP development and training for new operational capabilities.
* Provide technical analysts, test planning and execution support for complex engineering field tests and studies.
* Provide analysts of complex signal collection programs considering viability, performance, and implementation.
* Interact with government and contractor points of contact in formal and informal settings.
Qualifications: Required: * Active TS SCI Clearance (with a current SSBI favorable adjudicated within the last 5 years).
* BS/BA with 8+ years of system engineering experience supporting USG or Commercial Space Systems (to include knowledge of with Architectures, CONOPS, Requirements generation, testing and operations).
* Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or related scientific or technical disciple desirable.
* Strong background in and certified Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
* Past SETA experience and familiarity with USG Operations, Requirements development, Seniors, and Analysis of Space/Ground Systems.
* Strong customer service/teaming, data gathering/analytical skill; able to collaborate across functional teams.
* 5-20 years of experience supporting space acquisitions, development, and operations.
Desired: * MS in Engineering, CS, or management.
* TS SCI with CI Poly.
* Experience in engineering and /or acquisition of Intelligence community and or DoD spacecraft systems.
* Experience with USG satellites Systems.
