We are seeking an Associate Director of Admissions who is passionate about education and skilled in sales and project management to support our enrollment goals. In this role, you will help connect mission-appropriate families with our acclaimed academic program while contributing to the overall success of the admissions team. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage the admissions process from start to finish
  • Promote a positive school culture that fosters academic achievement, personal growth, and responsible behavior
  • Support the Director of Admissions in the planning, coordination, and execution of all admissions events, such as open houses, shadow programs, and other related events. 
  • Maintain prospective family pipeline, which will include creating a file once an application is submitted and maintaining that file throughout the admissions process 
  • Support any outside community marketing as needed to ensure we have strong brand awareness in local markets and to generate incremental increases in lead flow
  • Partner with the Director of Admissions and the Head of School to plan, develop, and execute student recruitment strategies to drive application growth and achieve enrollment goals
  • Increase awareness of school admissions through outreach, which includes building relationships with local companies, organizations, associations, communities, and currently enrolled and new families
  • Lead and support family meetings, tours, webinars, and information sessions
  • Support the Student Ambassadors cohort 
  • Speak with prospective families knowledgeably and confidently about the school's program. 
  • Support the follow-up with families who are in our admissions pipeline to maintain open communication with all lead families
  • Manage and execute all CRM data to keep systems up-to-date

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field. A master's degree is preferred
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in sales, marketing, or similar roles in an educational environment
  • Must be able to attend regular admissions events outside of regular school hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Experience within education or a true passion for working within PK-12 education 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with families, students, and staff
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to establish and manage multiple priorities, creatively problem-solve, and work under pressure 
  • Possess a strong understanding of the admissions process and how to optimally engage at each stage
  • Superior technology, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership and collaboration, displaying a positive attitude, and demonstrating cultural proficiency

General information:

  • Reports directly to the Director of Admissions
  • The full-time equivalent salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. This position is regular, 12 months, full-time, and exempt. Employees in exempt positions are expected to work as many hours as their responsibilities require, which includes evenings and weekends
  • The school is located at 3800 Blackford Avenue, San Jose, CA
