The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in talent management, a deep understanding of organizational development, and the ability to drive initiatives that align with our company’s goals and culture. ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership:?Develop and implement comprehensive talent management strategies that support the company’s business objectives and foster a high-performance culture. Employee Development:?Design and implement programs for employee development, including training, mentorship, and career progression plans.? Suffolk’s ‘Red and Blue University’ is award-winning! Leadership Training:?Manage and enhance leadership training programs within Suffolk’s Red and Blue University, ensuring leaders are equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed. Individual Coaching Programs:?Oversee the development and implementation of individual coaching programs to support employee growth and development. Performance Management:?Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms. Succession Planning Thought Leadership:?Facilitate a process, in partnership with HR Business Partners, that ensures succession plans for key positions, ensuring a pipeline of qualified candidates for future leadership roles.? Work closely with senior leadership and department heads to understand talent needs and align talent management strategies with business goals. People Analytics, Metrics and Reporting:?Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of talent management programs and initiatives.? Utilize data and analytics to inform talent management strategies and decisions, providing insights into workforce trends and areas for improvement. Giving Circle Leadership:? Lead Suffolk’s employee-driven non-profit giving arm, both responsible for managing disbursements to in-need recipients as well as encouraging employee participation in the program. Diversity and Inclusion:?Partner with our dedicated DE&I team to champion diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout our talent development processes. Manage a team of 5 people in support of the above QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in talent management or human resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of employee development, performance management, and succession planning. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives. Experience with diversity and inclusion programs. Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making. Experience with individual coaching programs and leadership training. Working ConditionsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing.
