Job Description: * Position supports program requirements to include: D043/D143C, IDTODS, FIN, Joint Engineering Data Management Information and Control System (JEDMICS), FSS, ETIMS, F-16 OCM, Haystack and other databases relating to the aircraft and its systems to help determine problem areas on assigned systems and items. Assists with recommending and developing executable programs to be considered for use in ensuring the operation and evaluation of assigned systems. * Support all aspects and levels of program IPTs to include but not limited to, engineering, program management, other equipment specialists, lead and chief engineers and civilian and military leadership within the F-16 Division/FB Directorate, other AFLCMC directorates, AFLCMC headquarters, AFRL, HQ AFMC, ACC, DoD, EPAFs, prime weapon system contractor and subcontractors, and other Government and private sector personnel. * Support program requirements to include: D043/D143C, IDTODS, FIN, Joint Engineering Data Management Information and Control System (JEDMICS), FSS, ETIMS, F-16 OCM, Haystack and other databases relating to the aircraft and its systems to help determine problem areas on assigned systems and items. Assist with recommending and developing executable programs to be considered for use in ensuring the operation and evaluation of assigned systems. * Assist studies, review and analysis of technical problems/malfunctions affecting assigned equipment generated from a variety of sources including but not limited to DRs, AFTO Form 22s, MSTG/SSG, telephone calls, IDEAS and aircraft mishaps. Recommend appropriate corrective actions. When corrective actions are presented by using commands, contractors, and others, assist to evaluate for technical adequacy and economic feasibility. Assist to determine method of implementation (e.g. TCTO or TO change). * Support all aspects and levels of program IPTs to include but not limited to, engineering, program management, other equipment specialists, lead and chief engineers and civilian and military leadership within the F-16 Division and AFLCMC directorates, AFLCMC headquarters, AFRL, HQ AFMC, ACC, DoD, EPAFs, prime weapon system contractor and subcontractors, and other Government and private sector personnel. * Support various standing F-16 activities and organizations including, but not limited to, the F-16 Consolidated Board, F-16 JMCCT/B, and F-16 System Safety Groups including but not limited to the SSG, SSWG, and MSTG). Participate in formal and informal F-16 program reviews. * Assist Government equipment specialists, integrators and engineers in conducting special research projects as assigned. Support the USAF PM in all tasks related to this effort. * Support trial installations, kit proofs, and TCTO/technical data verification. Assist to report findings, kit issues, and corrective actions and make recommendations to the responsible engineer or PM. * Support feasibility studies and technical evaluations to ensure that systems, subsystems and equipment being developed are mutually compatible and serve to meet overall operational and technical requirements. Education, experience, and other required skills: Possess the advanced knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be considered an expert in their technical/professional field, possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and journeyman personnel within the technical/professional discipline. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of technical/professional discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures and practices in area of expertise as a Program Office, Enterprise and Staff Level Support interface. * Advanced Degree (Master of Arts (MA) / Master of Science (MS)) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD * OR, BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD * OR, 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, eight of which must be in the DoD.
