Logistics Weapon System Propulsion Engine Management Support Specialized Education and Experience Required: The candidate shall have a minimum of four years demonstrated knowledge and experience of weapon system engine propulsion system acquisition and/or sustainment logistics activities. Also, the Contractor shall have a minimum of two years demonstrated knowledge and experience with the US Air Force Comprehensive Engine Management System. Demonstrated knowledge and experience as a base level and/or command level engine manager is highly desired. Provide life cycle sustainment logistics support in the area of weapon system propulsion engine management MQ-9 systems as follows. Primary functions are MQ-9 weapon system propulsion engine management, with additional integration and support for the overarching MQ-9 Airframe Logistics IPT as required. Assist the Government in developing and/or evaluating proposed Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP) for operational systems. Assist the Government in developing and/or evaluating recommended engine level spares required to develop, field, and sustain operational readiness of selected systems. Coordinate with the Government on the availability of engine related weapon mission kits for production and sustainment. Shall assist the Government in the evaluation of recommended engine related test and SE for systems falling under the logistics support of the AFLCMC/WII Division. Assist the Government with identifying maintenance and equipment manuals required to support maintenance objectives/concepts for selected operational systems/subsystems. Assist in the collection, compilation, analysis and research of relevant maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information. Analyze field consumption data, failure trends and historical demand patterns to aid in the development of statistical forecasting analysis for logistics related use. Support the development, modification, preparation and/or validation of documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data report systems and management information systems. Perform logistical processes required to support QA reviews of TOs or similar documentation to ensure DoD standards are met. Pprovide hands-on assistance for development and integration of engine related logistics considerations for new weapons capability on UASs. Knowledgeable of processes involving configuration control; developmental, operational, and force development evaluation testing of UASs, or similar vehicles/systems; force structure and depot maintenance/sustainment requirements; and the development of requirements documentation. Identify problems and recommend solutions for all engine related aspects of the acquisition and sustainment function. Assist in producing and reviewing products for PO use that include business case analyses, trade-off studies, estimates for PO acquisition and logistics requirements, written requirements documents for planned acquisitions, and acquisition strategies and plans. Assist the Government by providing advisory assistance and documentation support in the preparation and coordination of program briefings, program execution reports, decision papers and key acquisition program documentation. To include verbally briefing products as requested. Assist the Government by providing support for the development and verification of a weapons system-related engine life cycle management plan. Provide advisory assistance to the Government by analyzing program support strategies to ensure compliance with current policy, guidance, new changes and emerging policy and guidance. The Contractor shall identify potential issues and make recommendations for Government consideration. Provide advisory assistance to the Government for the development of long term acquisition, fielding, and sustainment strategies for transition of engine as an item of supply to a traditional principal item and associated organic support. Provide technical advisory assistance and support between AFLCMC/WII, MAJCOM and operating units to address issues affecting program engine management. Assist the Government by recommending the potential development of new processes and improvements to current processes for government consideration. Assist the Government by providing advisory assistance in technical evaluations of supplier contract proposals, verifying content, and identifying potential errors in work and cost estimates.
