SUSS MicroTec develops and builds precision machinery for the semiconductor industry. The technically sophisticated manufacturing of chips takes place in several complex processing steps (microstructuring), for which chip manufacturers utilize our equipment.

We are seeking to expand our capacity by adding an additional Electrical Engineer to our Product Development team located in Williston, Vermont. The Williston office is a R&D-focused environment supporting our international manufacturing sites with new product developments.
Responsibilities
Develop electrical systems for machine control
Develop power distribution systems (AC & DC)
Create & update electrical schematics
Support prototype builds of system designs for integration & functional test
Research and document test results
Work with multi-site cross-functional teams
Track project time lines to complete tasks on schedule
Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to meet deadlines and achieve goals
Requirements
BSEE (or relevant technical degree)
Three (plus) years of design engineering
Experience with electrical diagnostic equipment
Knowledge of motion & temperature control systems
Strong troubleshooting & root cause analysis skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Experience with ECAD software
Experience with ERP systems for document, material, BOM, and revisions
Experience with electrical safety standards (ie. NFPA79, NEC)
