Shift Schedule:

Night Shift: 7:30 PM - 4:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday.
Sunday Shift: Start time may vary depending on plant operations, typically beginning at 6:00 PM for preliminary repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including megging motors and wire feeds, troubleshooting controls and tripped breakers, and installing and wiring up starters and breakers.
Motor Controls: Possess strong knowledge of motor controls and demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair independently.
Medium Voltage: Have a thorough understanding of medium voltage (1,000 volts - 35,000 volts), including splicing, troubleshooting gear, and testing medium voltage safely and efficiently.
Work Environment: Navigate and work comfortably in an underground mine and around heavy industrial machinery, vehicles, and equipment. Be prepared to work in a dirty, dusty, and heavy industrial setting.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Work alongside operational conveyor belts and use lifts from elevated platforms safely and efficiently.
Installation and Maintenance: Install various electrical applications timely, safely, and professionally. Be ready for unscheduled emergency work and use a laptop on site for troubleshooting and documentation.
Vehicle Maintenance: Drive and maintain company vehicles to ensure their reliability.
Documentation: Complete daily work orders and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) for safety compliance.

Qualifications:

Strong working knowledge of motor controls and medium voltage systems.
Comfortable working in an underground mine and heavy industrial environment.
Proficient in using a laptop on site.
Prepared for unscheduled emergency work.
Ability to drive and maintain company vehicles.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
