We are looking for an Entry Level Cloud Software Developer with experience in building and deploying high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications to support our customer in Central Maryland. You will be part of a dynamic and high producing team that is responsible for providing revolutionary technology that provides search and discovery capabilities within the applications. In this role you will: ? Implement backend RESTful web services using Java or Python. ? Develop modern UI components using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React and JQuery. Leverage your experience with Javascript, CSS, HTML to create modern user interfaces. ? Implement solutions utilizing the Amazon Web Services well architected framework. ? Experience horizontally scaling heavy workload applications in the cloud. ? Query large data-sets using distributed NO-SQL databases such as MongoDB, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB or similar systems. ? Continuous Integration / Continuous Testing: Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab Cl/Pipelines ? Familiar with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Cloud Formation or Terraform. ? Provide expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. ? Familiar with core AWS services such as: EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, RDS, etc... Ideal Skills: ? Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile software development environment ? Experience building/deploying applications using AWS. ? Able to continuously learn and be at the leading edge of industry trends. Required Degrees: ? A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline. ?
