Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide daily patient care and prepare patients for inpatient encounters and post-discharge recovery.
Collect quality improvement data, interpret outcomes, and implement necessary interventions.
Perform daily program operations and support program fidelity. May oversee program development and/or expansion.
Communicate regular program updates to the funding department and Cedars-Sinai leadership.
Work with multidisciplinary teams to provide guidance, resolve issues, and implement quality improvements.
Research and analyze program data to evaluate performance and operations. Communicate findings and recommendations for quality improvement to stakeholders and leadership.
Assess communication and training needs of patients and staff to achieve program performance goals. Develop and implement necessary educational materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop materials across multiple departments.
Ensure staff and program compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Maintain data system integrity and quality assurance measures based on departmental procedures.
Provide ad hoc reporting to support future planning and enhancements through trend analysis.
Required Qualifications:
5 years Acute Care inpatient experience
Charged Experience
BSN
Preferred Qualifications:
3 years Orthopaedic experience in a large, academic trauma center
2 years Leadership experience as a CN IV and/or Assistant Nurse Manager or comparable position
