Job Details

• Travel Rate: Available for local travelers if the start date is on or before 12/13.
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (18:45-07:15), Tuesday to Thursday schedule with occasional weekends.
• Float Requirement: Floating as needed, with potential to cover the sister unit for ER holding.
• Patient Diagnoses: General surgery and medical tele cardiac telemetry/medical telemetry.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: General Surgery, Surgical procedures.
• Unit Orientation: 36 hours, with mandatory hospital orientation in the first week.
• Scrubs: Navy Blue

• Experience: Minimum 2 years, or 1 year with travel experience. First-time travelers accepted.
• Skills: MS/tele experience required, telemetry experience preferred. Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response teams, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions.
• Certifications: BLS and NIH required.

• Target Ratios: 1:6-7
• Holiday RTO: Cannot approve RTO for 12/24 or 12/25.
• Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC (preferred)
