Job Details

• Travel rate available for local travelers if starting on or before December 13.
• Contracts available from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025, to help us through the Holidays.
• 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts.
• Floating to similar units as needed.
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per each 6-week schedule.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• IV Start and Telemetry skills required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH.
• EKG Testing must be passed prior to start.

Our unit manages a variety of cardiac conditions including:

• Pre/Post Cath, Pre/Post PPM & AICD, Watchmen Procedures
• Stress Tests, Management of Arterial & Venous Sheaths
• TIA Population, Carotid Stent Patient Management
• Card-Tele, Management of Arrhythmias
• Management of cardiac drips: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Renal Dose Dopamine, Lasix Drips, and non-titrating Nitro Drips for stable CP, NSTEMI Patients

The Cardiac Procedural Unit (CPPU) is a 24-bed inpatient unit specializing in cardiac telemetry and pre/post cardiac procedural care. With an average patient stay of 1.8-2.4 days, the unit experiences rapid patient turnover. An ADT nurse is available Monday-Friday during peak transition times to assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.

• Absences must be made up at the end of the contract and cannot be compensated as overtime.
• If a weekend shift is missed, it must be made up at the manager's discretion.
• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed, but we strive to accommodate requests.
