TEKsystems is seeking multiple experienced network engineers to support a local government client out of New Orleans. Qualified candidates will need to have 8-10 years of experience, Active Secret Clearance, 8570 Compliance (Security+CE), CCNP, and the ability to obtain IAT III within 6 months (CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED or GCIH. The Network Operations Sr. Position sits within the Marine Corps Enterprise Network - Network Activity Reserve supporting ~150 sites and ~800 routing and switching devices. These devices are made up of 9300-9500 Cisco Series Switches, 2900 transitioning to 8300-8500 Cisco Series Routers, and 4 core Nexus Routers. Responsibilities:
- Monitor the infrastructure and network, responding appropriately to alerts and events.
- Respond to incidents from triage through resolution, including escalations, where appropriate.
- Respond to infrastructure repairs, including directing remote activities to maintain operational effectiveness for services.
- Provide root cause analysis documentation in accordance with Government procedures.
- Provide data center support where appropriate.
- Document daily shift activities in appropriate reporting and ticketing tools and ensure proper pass down of any outstanding issues.
- Provide incident notification to Government representatives. Qualifications:
- Non negotiables: Active Secret Clearance & Security+CE
- Labor Category Requirements: *Waivers can be obtained for 1 of the following requirements* - 8-10 years of Experience in Network Technologies - CCNP - IAT III - CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Related Field
- Overall Cisco Network Technologies
- Routing (BGP/EIGRP OSPF/SDWAN)
