LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINSITRATOR WITH SECURITY CLEARANCE

TEKsystems is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to support a government client at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. The position requires a Top Secret Clearance and 8570 compliance (ex. Security+ce). Qualified candidates should have experience supporting Linux systems in a DoD environment The position will support a set of mainly Linux-based middleware and Database/web servers supporting NAVO's OCEANS Network on NIPR and SIPR. Types of tasking includes:
- JBoss EAP 7.X or later Sustainment
- Apache 2.4 Sustainment, Configuration and Security
- ESRI ArcGIS Server 10.9.X or later Sustainment, Configuration, and Security on Microsoft Windows Server 2019 (although this is a small footprint of servers around 4 systems)
- IIS Web Server Sustainment, Configuration, and Security for Microsoft Windows Server 2019 (same Windows 2019 servers as above)
- Sustain STIG Required Log Analysis and Usage Metrics
- Cybersecurity Documentation and Quarterly STIG updates and associated remediation Top Skills:
*Non negotiable* - Candidates must have an active T5 investigation and meet 8570 compliance (Security+ce)
- Linux administration OS, Server, Middleware (RHEL, CentOS, etc)
- Web Server Experience (JBOSS/Apache/Windows ISS)
- General PostgreSQL support Additional Skills:
- Experience with advanced scripting (ex. Bash)
- Experience with Ansible or Puppet is nice to have, not required
Elastic Stack
- ESRI ArcGIS servers (There is a small footprint of Windows servers hosting ArcGIS through Windows ISS, so need to be comfortable with performing administration on these Windows servers) This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to be obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret) Because an active or interim DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is required Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
