The Software Developer designs, develops, troubleshoots and analyzes routine, complicated and difficult software programs for computer-based systems. Advises hardware engineers on machine characteristics that affect software systems, such as storage capacity, processing speed and input/output requirements. As required, provides inputs for documentation of new or existing programs. Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline plus five (5) years of applicable design and development experience, or nine (9) of applicable design and development experience in lieu of a degree. A Master's Degree in a relevant field is a substitute for two (2) years experience. A PhD in a relevant field is a substitute for three (3) years experience. Five (5) years of Linux/Unix experience. Five (5) years of XML/XSD experience Five (5) years direct experience in the development of collection systems and components within the Intelligence Community (IC). One (1) year direct implementing Microservices. Five (5) years of experience with GO, Java Script, Perl, Python, Java, or C++ like languages. Five (5) years of Web framework experience such as SpringFramework, or Zope. ' Salary: $120,000-$140,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position, but is not guaranteed. Salary is based on experience, location and contractual requirements which could fall outside of the range listed.
