Our client, a Financial Institution is currently seeking a VP, Document Control to join their Team. This is a Full-Time position and Hybrid reporting to office twice a week to the locations below.

Job Description

Job Purpose & Scope:
Responsible for the organization's critical imaging and document workflow storage systems including the operations, policies, and procedures for the secure management and access of the company's information and assets. Executes and enforces security protocols for the access, storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all documents.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Partners with other departments to streamline, automate, and improve business processes and documentation.
  • Maintains imaging and document workflow technology platforms while evaluating and updating the Bank's documented security policies to ensure maximum availability.
  • Oversees and supports existing imaging, hardware, and document workflow applications involving the analysis, maintenance, enhancements, and testing of application.
  • Manages software upgrades and testing plans with imaging and document workflow application business owners, vendors, and Banking Systems leadership.
  • Ensures data and system availability and security by protecting Bank information from unauthorized access.
  • Participates in the creation of, makes recommendations for, and helps carry out procedures and operational tasks of all managed imaging and document workflow systems.
  • Recommends, implements, and oversees effective purge parameters and processes to maintain compliance with relevant retention governance.
  • Maintains a flexible schedule, participates in on-call rotation, and works extended hours, as necessary.
  • Maintains industry standard security and resilience strategies.
  • Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of the other essential job functions.
  • Maintains good punctuality and attendance at work.
  • Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Travels on company business, when necessary.

  • Knowledge of relevant windows server/application technology or enterprise software content management application administration.
  • Ability to support, test, and identify hardware and software problems in virtualized Windows Server/Windows PC environment.

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Management, or in STEM field such as Science, Technology, Engineering or Math, or commensurate work experience, required.
  • 5+ years professional experience managing Enterprise Content Management systems, required.
  • 2+ years of work experience in an enterprise server environment analyzing, administering, and troubleshooting virtualized Windows servers, preferred
  • 2+ years supervisory experience or leading/managing a team, required.
