This position will report directly to the Plant Manager at our Parkersburg, WV location.The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:Lead operation of the Melts area in a safe, PSM compliant, and environmentally sound mannerLead the unit to set and meet production schedule, yield, up-time, quality, and transformation objectivesManage monthly cost performance and lead fixed cost reduction effortsLead and set high performance standards and operating discipline for the organizationDevelop and ensure that supply plans and performance meets both internal supply and external sales expectationsDrive continuous improvement toward increased competitivenessManage employee and labor relations consistent with corporate and local policiesDevelop team members for future assignmentsCreate a safe and respectful work environment that allows everyone to contribute to their full potentialEffectively communicate business direction and goals to gain organizational alignmentThe following is required for this role:BS Degree10+ years of experience in OperationsPrevious leadership experienceDemonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to work with a diverse population of employees and contractorsStrong Process Safety Management skills in HHP operationsSolid understanding of site safety procedures and corporate safety philosophyUnderstanding of key environmental regulatory and permit requirements impacting the production facilityUnderstanding of quality systems and finished product quality requirementsExperience in driving results and accountabilityThe following is preferred for this role:Bachelor's in an Engineering DiscipliningExperience in project leadership / management.Experience in chemical plant operations OR Military Equivalent ExperienceExperience in a High Hazard Process manufacturing experience.Lean, Six Sigma, or other Continuous Improvement certification.Knowledgeable in Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contractually binding documentsFamiliarity with the SAP for finance/cost managementFamiliarity with the Work Management Process (WMP)Benefits:Competitive CompensationComprehensive Benefits Packages401(k) MatchEmployee Stock Purchase ProgramTuition ReimbursementCommuter BenefitsLearning and Development OpportunitiesStrong Inclusion and Diversity InitiativesCompany-paid Volunteer DaysWe’re a different kind of chemistry company because we see our people as our biggest assets.
