Rockridge is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Construction Sales Consultant to help clients design and purchase post-frame buildings, barndominiums, steel buildings, and commercial or industrial projects.

This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys guiding customers through a consultative sales process rather than high-pressure selling. You will manage qualified inbound leads, collaborate with clients on design and budget, and close projects that make a real impact. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inbound leads via phone, text, email, and social platforms

  • Build strong relationships and understand client goals, budgets, and timelines

  • Qualify prospects and gather project details

  • Collaborate with clients to design custom building layouts

  • Prepare and present clear proposals and pricing

  • Educate customers on materials, options, timelines, and processes

  • Follow up consistently to move opportunities through the pipeline

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and sales tracking tools

  • Coordinate with project management for smooth project handoffs

  • Deliver a high-quality customer experience from first contact to contract

Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of sales experience, preferably in construction, real estate, or design

  • Basic construction knowledge strongly preferred

  • Experience with post-frame, barndominiums, or steel buildings is a plus

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Highly organized with excellent follow-up habits

  • Comfortable designing basic building layouts and discussing project details

  • Tech-savvy with CRM systems, email, and digital quoting tools

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at once

  • Honest, dependable, and customer-focused
