What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you’ll own the estimating process from review through submission:

• Review project drawings, specifications, and scope documents to develop accurate estimates

• Prepare competitive bids aligned with company margin and profitability targets

• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure accurate pricing

• Analyze project risks and identify cost-saving or value-engineering opportunities

• Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and historical bid data

• Track market conditions, labor trends, and material pricing

• Support leadership with insight on bid strategy and project feasibility

What We're Looking For

This role is best suited for someone who is confident working independently while collaborating with internal teams.

• 5+ years experience in commercial electrical estimating preferred

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction methodologies

• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

• Clear, professional communication and collaboration abilities
