As an Assistant Front Office Manager at our hotel, you will support the Front Office Manager in overseeing front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere. You will assist in managing the daily operations, resolve guest concerns, and help uphold high standards of efficiency and customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Front Office Manager in managing the front desk operations and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in/check-out process
  • Supervise front desk staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure a high level of customer service
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Ensure that front desk procedures are followed accurately, including room reservations, billing, and guest inquiries
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere at the front desk
  • Monitor and analyze guest feedback, implementing improvements to enhance guest experiences
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and concierge, to ensure seamless service
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining records, reports, and logs related to front desk operations
  • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts to maximize revenue and control expenses
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to keep the front desk team informed and motivated

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in front desk management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of front desk procedures, reservations, and hotel operations.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
